These threats include physical and non-physical threats, such as disinformation, data leakage, and radicalism. For this reason, the readiness of the Indonesian National Army (TNI) is needed as one of the supporters of security in the country whose capacity and capability are expected to continue to increase.

“With this great demand, all TNI soldiers wherever they are must continue to increase their capacity and capability,” said Vice President KH Ma’ruf Amin when congratulating TNI’s 77th Anniversary, Wednesday (05/05/2020). 10/2022).

The Vice President realized that it was not easy for the ranks of the TNI to defend the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) and public trust amid the disruption. However, the Vice President emphasized that the TNI was an important part of protecting the state and society.

“The TNI is a pillar supporting sovereignty, guarding territorial integrity, and protecting the country from all forms of disturbance and threats. The TNI is also an important part of efforts to recover after disturbances in the community,” said the Vice President.

“Increasing challenges means increasing duties and responsibilities of the three TNI dimensions in protecting and guarding Mother Earth,” he added.

For this reason, the Vice President expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all TNI soldiers for their contributions and commitments to maintaining the integrity of the nation.

“I thank you for the hard work and sacrifices that have been given by all soldiers, both the Army, Navy, and Air Force, along with the entire family,” said the Vice President.

The Vice President also gave his prayers and hopes to the protective agencies and community protectors so that they could continue to maintain the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and oversee the implementation of nation-building towards Advanced Indonesia.

“Hopefully the TNI can continue to maintain and protect the establishment of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, as well as guarding the government’s efforts in building the nation towards an Advanced Indonesia,” hoped the Vice President.
