Jakarta, wapresri.go.id – Vice President (VP) K.H. Ma’ruf Amin this morning left for Bali to attend the Supreme Audit Institutions 20 (SAI20) Summit and survey the readiness of the venue for the 2022 G20 Summit, Monday (29/08/2022).

Flying with a presidential aircraft, Boeing 737-400 TNI AU, the VP accompanied by Mrs. Hj. Wury Ma’ruf Amin and a limited group took off from Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport, Jakarta, for I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Badung Regency, Bali Province, at 10.15 WIB (Western Indonesian Time) or 11.15 WITA (Central Indonesian Time).

After traveling for approximately one hour and fifty minutes, the VP arrived in Bali at 12.50 WITA. At the airport, the VP was welcomed by the Governor of Bali I Wayan Koster, Regional Military Commander IX Udayana, Bali Police Chief, Ngurah Rai Airforce Base Commander, and Denpasar Navy Base Commander.

Furthermore, the VP accompanied by the Governor of Bali headed to the Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Hotel, Bali Tourism Development Corporation (BTDC) Tourism Area, Lot N5, Nusa Dua by car to attend and give a keynote speech at the 2022 SAI20 Indonesia Summit. Before the summit’s opening ceremony, the VP is scheduled to receive a courtesy call from the heads of the SAI20 member delegations.

The SAI20 Summit itself will be inaugurated at 14.00 WITA and will run for 2 days, from 29 to 30 August 2022. This conference will be attended by 12 SAIs from G20 member countries, namely Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia and Turkey.

In accordance with the theme of the G20 Indonesia Presidency “Recover Together, Recover Stronger”, SAI20 Indonesia 2022 carries two main priority issues, namely: Accelerating Economic Recovery and Supporting the Achievement of SDGs.

The next day, Tuesday (30/08/2022), the VP is scheduled to survey the readiness of several venues that will host a series of activities for the G20 Summit. Not only that, the VP will also visit the Public Electric Vehicle Filling Station (SPKLU), which is a place for refueling electric cars that will be used by the participants of the G20 Summit.

Before returning to Jakarta, the VP is also scheduled to visit the Bali Bangkit Small and Medium Industry Exhibition (IKM) on Jalan Nusa Indah, Denpasar City.
