Departing for Pekanbaru, Vice President Will Inaugurate Sharia BRK Operations and Review Palm Oil Processing at Riau Technology Islamic Boarding School

Jakarta, wapresri.go.id – Vice President KH. Ma’ruf Amin, this afternoon, Wednesday (24/08/2022), left for Pekanbaru, Riau Province. The main agenda of the working visit (kunker) of the Vice President and Mrs. Hj. Wury Ma’ruf Amin to the province known as “Bumi Lancang Kuning”, was to inaugurate the operations of Bank Riau Kepri (BRK) Syariah and review palm oil processing at the Riau Technology Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes).

During this visit, the Vice President will use the Presidential Aircraft Boeing 737-400 of the Indonesian Air Force which will take off from Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport, Jakarta, to Sultan Syarif Kasim II International Airport, Pekanbaru, Riau, at 16.00 WIB.

After a flight of approximately one hour and forty minutes, the Vice President is scheduled to arrive at 17.40 WIB and be greeted by Riau Governor Syamsuar, and members of the Riau Province Regional Leadership Coordination Forum.

The BRK Syariah operation, which will be inaugurated by the Vice President, was held on the 2nd day of the work visit, Thursday (25/08/2022) at the Dang Merdu Tower of Bank Riau Kepri, Jl. Gen. Sudirman No.462, Pekanbaru, Riau. At this event, there will also be an inauguration of the Regional Committee for Sharia Economics and Finance (KDEKS) of Riau Province.

After the event, the Vice President is planning to go to the Riau Technology Ponpes, which is located on Jl. Lintas Sumatra No.20, Pekanbaru City, to review oil palm processing and sprout planting.

The Vice President is scheduled to return to Jakarta at 15.00 WIB on the same day.

Also present to accompany the Vice President during the visit, the Head of the Secretariat of the Vice President Ahmad Erani Yustika, Deputy for Government Policy Support and National Insight Velix Wanggai, Special Staff for the Vice President for Communication and Information Masduki Baidlowi, and the Expert Team of the Vice President Johan Tedja Surya, Farhan Brachma, and Iggi Haruman Achsien.
