Jakarta-wapresri.go.id. Vice President Jusuf Kalla together with his spouse and entourage left for Turkey to attend the 13th Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Summit, using Presidential Aircraft departing from Halim Perdanakusuma Airforce Base, Jakarta, on Wednesday (April, 13), 7.30am.

The official visit is slated to last for three days on which the Vice President is scheduled to participate in a series of events in the summit, including the opening ceremony and five general debates with other leaders of OIC member states, all of which will be held at Intercontinental Hotel, Istanbul, Turkey.

The summit will be closed on Friday (April, 15) with the announcement of Istanbul Declaration by Turkey that is hosting the summit.

On the sidelines of the OIC Summit, the Vice President is going to hold some meeting with OIC Secretary General Iyad  Ameen Madani, King of Saudi Arabia Salman Bin Abdulazis Al Saud, and Head of Lebanese delegates.

Besides, Mr Kalla is also invited for a dinner hosted by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The Vice President will conclude the visit and return to Indonesia on Saturday (April, 16).
