Departing for Yogyakarta, the Vice President Will Attend the Wedding of President Joko Widodo’s Son

Jakarta, wapresri.go.id – Vice President (VP) K.H. Ma’ruf Amin this afternoon left for Yogyakarta, Friday (09/12/2022).

Using a Presidential Aircraft Boeing 737-400 TNI AU, the VP took off from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base Jakarta to the Adisutjipto Air Force Base, Sleman Regency, D.I. Yogyakarta at 15.30 WIB (Indonesian Western Time).

During his visit to Yogyakarta this time, the VP and Mrs. Hj. Wury Ma’ruf Amin will attend the wedding procession of Kaesang Pangarep, son of President Joko Widodo and Mrs. Iriana Joko Widodo, with Erina Sofia Gudono, daughter of the late Prof. Dr. Mohammad Gudono, M.B.A., Akt., Ph.D and Dra. Sofiatun Gudono, M.Sc., Akt.

After taking a sixty-five-minute flight, the VP arrived in Yogyakarta and was scheduled to be greeted by Governor D.I. Yogyakarta Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X, Military Commander IV/Diponegoro Widi Prasetijono, Regional Police Chief of D.I. Yogyakarta Suwondo Nainggolan, and Adisutjipto Air Force Base Commander Azhar Aditama along with their respective companions.

Furthermore, the VP and Mrs. Hj. Wury Ma’ruf Amin, accompanied by Governor D.I. Yogyakarta and Mrs. Gusti Kanjeng Ratu Hemas headed to the Sheraton Mustika Hotel Yogyakarta, Jalan Laksda Adisucipto, KM. 8, Sleman, Yogyakarta by car.

The next day, Saturday (10/12/2022), the VP is scheduled to attend the wedding procession of Kaesang Pangarep and Erina Sofia Gudono at the Royal Ambarrukmo Hotel, Yogyakarta. On this occasion, the VP will also deliver marriage advice to the bride and groom.

Before returning to Jakarta on Sunday (11/12/2022), the VP and Mrs. Hj. Wury Ma’ruf Amin will also attend the wedding reception for President Joko Widodo’s youngest son at Jalan Ronggowarsito Number 83, Banjarsari, Surakarta City.

Accompanying the VP in this visit were Head of Vice President’s Secretariat Ahmad Erani Yustika, Special Staff for the VP Masduki Baidlowi, Team of Experts of the VP Nurdin Tampubolon and Farhat Brachma and Chairman of National Amil Zakat Agency Noor Achmad. (NN, BPMI – Setwapres)
