VP attends Harry Azhar Azis’ book launching

Jakarta-wapresri.go.id. Vice President Jusuf Kalla attended the launching ceremony of a book entitled “Amanah Sampai Akhir” (Being Trustworthy until the End of Time) written by Dr. Harry Azhar Azis, at Dapur Sunda restaurant on Jalan Gatot Subroto, Jakarta, on Monday (April, 25).

When presenting his testimony about the author, the Vice President said that Harry is a sociable person and thus he has a lot of friends and close colleagues.

“As we can see in this ceremony, there are four fractions among the invitees, namely HMI (the Indonesian Muslim Students Association), Golkar party, House lawmakers, and BPK (Supreme Audit Board),” said Mr. Kalla explaining Harry’s wide range of friends.

Besides, he added, Harry is someone who constantly remains critical to any problem, obeying the rules, yet loyal to his supervisor.

Harry, the Vice President said, also had good career paths.

“He used to be a lawmaker at Commission 11 of the House of Representatives (DPR) overseeing the State Budget when I was the Vice President in my first tenure and Golkar party chairman. Now, he is BPK chairman responsible for auditing his colleagues at Commission 11,” he said.

With a lot of tasks and responsibility, the Vice President concluded, Harry could perform very well.

Also attending the ceremony were DPR Speaker Ade Komarudin, Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Minister Yuddy Chrisnandi, Agrarian Minister Ferry Mursyidan Baldan, BPK member Achsanul Qosasi, senior politician Akbar Tanjung and Anggito Abimanyu.
