Jakarta-wapresri.go.id. Youth generation need to do positive activities to prevent any negative influence surrounding them.

Vice President Jusuf Kalla stated this when receiving a delegation of Asia Pacific Region Scout (APRS) Committee at his office in Jakarta on Friday (April, 8).

APRS is the biggest youth organization in the world with more than 20 million members from 25 countries, including Indonesia.

The organization, as a part of the World Organization of Scout Movement, is holding their annual meeting this year in Jakarta, at Borobudur Hotel, starting from today and is slated to last for four days.

“Indonesia, as the host for the event this year, wishes the meeting would run very well,” said the Indonesian Scout Movement chairman, Adhyaksa Dault, who was also present at the meeting the Vice President.

“I hope scout movement could teach the youth the importance of cooperation and unity among them,” the Vice President concluded.
