Attending Commemoration of Santri Day at Prambanan Muhammadiyah Islamic Boarding School, Vice President Flies to Yogyakarta

Jakarta, wapresri.go.id – Vice President K.H. Ma’ruf Amin accompanied by Mrs. Hj. Wury Ma’ruf Amin today left for the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), Monday (24/10/2022). One of the agendas that the Vice President will carry out on this working visit is to attend the Commemoration of National Santri Day at the Prambanan Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) Islamic Boarding School.

Using the Special Presidential Aircraft Boeing 737-400 TNI AU, the Vice President and his entourage took off from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, to the Adisutjipto Air Force Base, Sleman, DIY, at around 08.20 WIB.

Arriving at the Adisutjipto Air Force Base, the Vice President will be welcomed by the Governor of Yogyakarta, Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X, and Ms. Gusti Kanjeng Ratu Hemas, the Commander of the IV/Diponegoro Military Command Major General Widi Prasetijono, the Head of Yogyakarta Regional Police Inspector General Suwondo Nainggolan, and the Commander of Air Force Base Adi Sutjipto Marsma TNI Azhar Aditama.

After a short rest in the main waiting room of the airport, the Vice President, along with the Governor of Yogyakarta and his entourage, went straight to the Prambanan Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) on Jl. Piyungan KM.2 Marangan Bokoharjo, Prambanan, Sleman, DIY. Here the Vice President will attend the 2022 National Santri Day Commemoration, which is planned to start at 10.00 WIB.

After attending the 2022 National Santri Day Commemoration at MBS, at 13.30 WIB, the Vice President is scheduled to give a National Speech at Alma Ata University, Jl. Brawijaya No. 99, Tamantirto, DIY. The speech that the Vice President will deliver carries the theme “Transformative Leadership to Guard the Realization of the Golden Indonesia 2045”.

On Tuesday (10/25/2022), the next day, before leaving for Jakarta, the Vice President will review the construction of the Yogyakarta Nahdlatul Ulama University Integrated Campus, which is located on Jl. West Ringroad, Hamlet, Dowangan, Gamping, Sleman, DIY at 10.30 WIB.

After conducting a review, the Vice President and Mrs. Hj. Wury Ma’ruf Amin and his entourage headed to Adisutjipto Airport to return to Jakarta to continue other state agendas.
