Jakarta. Vice President RI Jusuf Kalla receives the visit of Iranian business delegation along with Iranian Ambassador to Indonesia H.E. Valiollah Mohammadi at his office today.

The visit was a follow up of agreement reached by both President Joko Widodo and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on the sidelines of the Asia Africa Conference 60th anniversary commemoration last year.
Both leaders at the time agreed to increase business relationship between the two countries.
To the Vice President, Ambassador Mohammadi told that Iran is interested to hold trade relationship and investment particularly on energy sector. He also offered cooperation in the power plant and infrastructure development.
“We are welcome with the initiative as Iran is known for its capacity in developing infrastructure and electricity, especially with its hydro and geothermal technology,” said the Vice President in response.
The visit of the business delegates, Mr Mohammadi said, is an opportunity for the Iranian business players to show to Indonesia their capability in the development of infrastructure and electricity.
“I hope the relationship between the two countries will be stronger in the future,” he said.
