Jakarta. Vice President Jusuf Kalla received the visit of a constitutional law expert Yusril Ihza Mahendra at his office today. Mr Mahendra at the meeting invited the Vice President to attend the launching of a four-volume book consisting of his thinking and ideas.
“The book is a compilation of my writings, recordings, and videos of my thought on politics, social, economy, history, law, and Islam for 25 years from 1990 to 2015,” said the former State Secretary and Law and Human Right Minister, adding that a biography about him will also be launched at the same time. Both book and biography will be written in Indonesian and English.
The event, Mr Mahendra said, will take place on February 6, a day after his 60th birthday.
“I cordially invite you to deliver a speech at the event,” he told the Mr Kalla, adding that the former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad is confirmed to attend the ceremony.
“Insha Allah (if God wills), I will come,” confirmed the Vice President.
