Jakarta-wapresri.go.id. Vice President Jusuf Kalla expressed his gratitude and appreciation for a water tank truck donated by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) to the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), a humanitarian organization under his leadership.
The handover ceremony was conducted during IDX’s 39th anniversary at SCBD food stall arena in Jakarta, Saturday (Aug. 28).
“I need to convey that the need of victims of all disasters is water, and many do not notice this,” said the Vice President.
In response, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (FSA), Muliaman D. Haddad wished that the donation would be useful and in the future IDX could give more donations to PMI.
In addition to social activities, the 39th IDX anniversary was also celebrated with fun walk and a 5K run. After the ceremony, the Vice President was also present at the flag-off time to release the fun walk and 5K run race participants.
