Nusa Dua Bali, wapresri.go.id – After attending the Supreme Audit Institution 20 (SAI20) Summit at the Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Hotel, Vice President (VP) K.H. Ma’ruf Amin took the time to hand over social assistance (Bansos) to the people of Badung Regency at the Benoa Village Head Office, Jalan Praja Sentral, South Kuta District, Badung, Bali, Monday (29/08/2022).

To the social assistance recipients, the VP revealed that the government has a high commitment to continuing to help the community, especially in difficult situations due to the current Covid-19 pandemic.

“The government still has a commitment to continue to help (and) provide social assistance to the underprivileged, because this is the government’s obligation according to its capabilities,” he said.

Therefore, the VP asked for prayers from the entire community so that the government would have more capacity, to provide greater assistance to the community and hoped that the assistance would be useful.

“Hopefully what is given by the government can be put to good use,” the VP hoped.

On this occasion, the VP handed over Social Assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs in the form of the Basic Food Program to 9.598 Beneficiary Families (KPM) with total assistance of Rp. 1,919,600,000,-, the Family Hope Program (PKH) to 6,744 KPM with total assistance of Rp. 5,701,800. 000,- and the Social Rehabilitation Assistance Program (ATENSI) for 10 recipients with a total of Rp53,000,000.-.

Not only that, the VP also handed over basic food packages to the community in the form of rice, vegetable oil, milk, canned food, instant noodles, and others worth IDR 300.000 for each package.

Accompanying the VP at the handover of the Social Assistance were the Governor of Bali Wayan Koster and the Regent of Badung Nyoman Giri Prasta, as well as several officials from the Ministry of Social Affairs. (NN/LHS – BPMI Setwapres)
