University’s quality is measured by the quality of its alumni: VP

Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan-wapresri.go.id Vice President said the quality of a university can be seen from the quality and behavior of its alumni.

He stated this in the 2016 Alumni Gathering of the Hasanuddin University at Hasanuddin University in Makassar, South Sulawesi, on Saturday (10/09/2016).

The Vice President further explained, alumni’s quality is viewed from their dedication to the community, including in giving positive contribution to their alma mater.

“Good alumni are those who have a good future. That is why a good university should teach something for the future,” the Vice President said.

In the event, the Vice President also had the opportunity to witness the Launching of Concerned Alumni and the Bestowal of Hasanuddin Universiy Alumni Awards.

Also present at the event were Hasanuddin University Rector Prof. Dr. Dwia Aries Tina Pulubuhu, South Sulawesi Governor Syahrul Yasin Limpo, and Maluku Governor Said Assagaff.
