Vice President Ma’ruf Wishes President Joko Widodo’s visit to Ukraine and Russia to be Successful

Jakarta, wapresri.go.id – The Vice President (VP) K.H. Ma’ruf Amin wished President Joko Widodo’s visit to Ukraine and Russia in bringing peace mission to be historical and successful.

“President’s visit to Ukraine and Russia is an important and historical trip for Indonesia government. Let us pray for President’s trip for the peace mission to be safe and successful,” said the VP in his press statement in Jakarta, Wednesday (06/29).

The VP, later, talked about the President’s mission to those countries to show the world the importance of peace to be achieved during this time of urgency.

“It shows Indonesia’s principle which is always active to make the world peace, as written in the preamble of Indonesian Constitution (UUD 1945), and consistently pursued by the Indonesian government,” the VP asserted.

Closing his statement, the VP hoped that the conflict between Ukraine and Russia could end immediately so that a peaceful solution can be accomplished.

“Again, I wish President’s trip could come up with of conflict resolution for the two countries, Russia and Ukraine, leading to the beginning of stable economy for the world in the nearest time,” the VP ended.
