Accompanying President Prabowo Subianto, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming attended the National Development Planning Conference (Musrenbang) RPJMN Year 2025-2029 held at the Ministry of PPN/Bappenas Office, Jl. Taman Suropati No. 2, Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Monday (30/12/2024).
The Vice President was welcomed by Minister of PPN/Head of Bappenas Rachmat Pambudy, and the two were seen chatting while waiting for President Prabowo Subianto.
President Prabowo attended the event and gave a briefing, as well as expressed his appreciation to all parties who had contributed to the preparation of the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) document for the next five-year period.
“On this occasion, I would like to thank the Head of Bappenas and all his staff, as well as the Governors and Heads of Regional Planning Agencies who have worked hard to prepare and produce this RPJMN,” President Prabowo said.
In his direction, the President emphasized the importance of implementing national development programs free from corruption and other fraudulent acts. He underlined that solid cooperation is needed from all parties to ensure the programs run well.
“We want to implement national development by reducing all forms of leakage, manipulation, mark up, subterfuge, etc. This requires the cooperation of all parties [i.e. institutions] of the Judiciary, Legislature, and Government, as well as Apparatus, all of which must work together,” said the Head of State.
Closing his remarks, the President reminded the central and regional governments to make the best use of this momentum to formulate effective programs for the welfare of the people. He also invited the participants to run the government with optimism and the spirit of togetherness.
“Carry out this Musrenbangnas as well as possible. Let us look forward to the future with confidence, unity, and gratitude,” President Prabowo concluded.
