Vice President Visits Batamindo Green Farm in Karawang

Jakarta, wapresri.go.id – Vice President K.H. Ma’ruf Amin this afternoon visited Batamindo Green Farm (Singapore Fresh Green Makmur) in Karawang, West Java, Thursday (15/09/2022). The Vice President and his entourage headed to Jalan Bukit Indah Raya, Cikampek, Karawang Regency at 13.30 WIB.

Arriving at the modern farm, the Vice President was welcomed by Deputy Minister of Agriculture Harvick Hasnul Qolbi, Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil, Deputy Regent of Karawang Aep Syaepuloh, and Mr. Franciscus Welirang.

In the place that produces vegetables, the Vice President saw first-hand the process of planting, packaging, and distribution by utilizing hydroponic technology.

For information, Batamindo Green Farm is the largest and most modern hydroponic farm in Indonesia that produces fresh products with high-quality standards and utilizes modern, sophisticated, and precise agricultural technology.

These vegetable products include some varieties of Spinach, Green Lettuce, Kailan, Butterhead Lettuce, Sawi, Kale, curly red and green chili, and Tomato that are sold both domestically and abroad.

The visit was scheduled to last for approximately one hour, then the Vice President returned to Jakarta at 16.00 WIB (SM/LHS – BPMI Setwapres)
