Leaving for South Kalimantan, the Vice President will Inaugurate the XXIX National MTQ 2022

Jakarta, wapresri.go.id – Vice President K.H. Ma’ruf Amin will inaugurate the Opening of the XXIX National Level Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQ) 2022 in South Kalimantan, on Wednesday night, (12/10/2022).

Using the Presidential Aircraft Boeing 737-400 TNI AU, the Vice President was accompanied by Mrs. Hj. Wury Ma’ruf Amin and his entourage took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta to Syamsudin Noor International Airport, Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan Province at 13.30 WIB.

The Vice President will arrive in Banjarmasin at 16:10 WITA after a 1-hour 40-minute flight.

Upon arrival at Syamsudin Noor Airport, the Vice President and Mrs. Wury will be welcomed by the Governor of South Kalimantan Sahbirin Noor and Mrs. Raudatul Sahbirin Noor and members of the South Kalimantan Regional Leadership Coordination Forum.

In the evening, at 20.00 WITA, the Vice President will open the XXIX National Level MTQ 2022 event, which will be held at Astaka Utama Kiram Park, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan. Apart from giving a speech at this annual religious festival, the Vice President will also witness the defile of all MTQ participants from 34 provinces and nasyid dhikr and prayers together.

The next day, Thursday (13/10/2022), the Vice President is scheduled to deliver social assistance at the Budi Luhur Center on Jalan Ahmad Yani KM. 30 before returning to Jakarta Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan. The Vice President and his entourage will return to Jakarta in the afternoon at 11.00 WITA or 10.00 WIB.

For information, South Kalimantan Province was officially appointed to host the XXIX National MTQ event 2022 through Minister of Religion Decree No. 442 of 2020. The theme for this event is “With the National MTQ, we will improve the quality of human resources that are Qur’ani to create a Religious and Moderate Society”. MTQ will be held this year in several areas, namely Banjar Regency, Banjar Baru Regency, and Banjarmasin City, South Kalimantan Province, from 10 to 19 October 2022..”
