Singapore, wapresri.go.id – On the second day of his working visit to Singapore, Vice President (VP) K.H. Ma’ruf Amin and Mrs. Hj. Wury Ma’ruf Amin visit the Gardens The Bay area, a 110-hectare urban nature park in the Marina Bay district, Singapore, Tuesday (18/10/2022).

In the walking exercise which lasted about 60 minutes, the VP expressed his admiration for the arrangement of trees and flowers. He considered that a greening system like this was a good effort in providing clean air for the community in the midst of the pollution of the existing capital city.

“This is good for clean air,” said the VP.

On the same occasion, the VP also had the opportunity to listen to an explanation given by the representative of Gardens The Bay, Addison Goh, about the various varieties of flowers and plants found in the flower dome area.

“The various flower and plant seeds contained in it, not only come from Singapore, some are directly imported from other countries such as Spain,” explained Addison.

The explanation attracted the attention of Mrs. Hj. Wury Ma’ruf Amin. He then chimed in that the beautiful flower arrangement in the flower dome is similar to the one in the Cipanas Flower Garden.

“This is like the one in Cipanas,” said Mrs. Hj. Wury enthusiastically.

The visit ended with a group photo and the agenda will be continued with a dialogue with the Indonesian Diaspora at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore.

Also accompanying the VP on this visit, the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Singapore Suryo Pratomo, Head of the Vice President’s Secretariat Ahmad Erani Yustika, Deputy for Economic Policy Support and Competitiveness Improvement Guntur Iman Nefianto, and Special Staff of the VP Masduki Baidlowi.
