Jakarta, wapresri.go.id – Vice President KH Ma’ruf Amin and Mrs. Hj. Wury Ma’ruf Amin and his entourage arrived in Indonesia after a series of working visits to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Republic Arab of Egypt, Wednesday (11/09/2022).

The Vice President and his entourage landed at Soekarno Hatta International Airport in Jakarta at around 11.45 am, after taking a flight of approximately 11 hours from Egypt’s Sharm El Sheikh International Airport.

Welcoming the arrival of the Vice President under the plane steps, the Acting (Pj.) Governor of Banten Al Muktabar along with all ranks of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkompimda) of Banten Province showed up at the airport.

As scheduled before, for 9 days the Vice President promotes state agendas in the Middle East, especially by attending the COP27 Climate Change Summit in Sharm El Sheikh and holding meetings with some important figures in the UAE and Egypt.

At the COP27 Summit, the Vice President called on all countries in the world to collaborate and take concrete actions in overcoming the three crises that hit planet Earth today (triple planetary crisis), namely climate change, pollution, and loss of biodiversity.

Then, when meeting with several figures such as UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MBZ), Dubai Holding Chairman Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, and Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Kamal Madbouly, the Vice President emphasized the need to increase bilateral cooperation in various fields, especially investment. and trade.
