The VP’s Message in the National Coordination Meeting of KMHDI

Mataram, wapresri.go.id – The Vice President (VP) K.H. Ma’ruf Amin affirmed that maintaining this country was not only in terms of national unity but also how we keep our earth and resource sustainable so that our next generation can still enjoy it.

It is stated by the Vice President at the opening ceremony of the National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) XV Indonesia Hindus Student Association (KMHDI) entitled “Caring for Indonesia” in Prime Park Hotel, Mataram, Thursday (06/30).

“Thus, the balance of nature and environment should be our concern,” the VP said.

To the meeting participants, the VP delivered his mandate and expectation regarding the efforts to maintain NKRI.

“Firstly, KMHDI should strengthen its body to a more solid organization, in order to attract our young men in building nationalism, embracing diversity, loving culture, developing themselves in the midst of technology acceleration, and taking of this earth,” he elaborated.

Secondly, he mentioned, that this meeting should be a forum to dig for ideas, create breakthroughs, and define strategic steps to help the government prepare human resources.

“Master the science, innovation, and creativity, as well as the national insight,” he hoped.

Lastly, the VP said, KMHDI was expected to formulate ideas and support the government as the host of G-20.

“I hope you can actively participate in G-20 events for youth, including the dissemination of this event through social media,” he ended. (DMA/LHS, BPMI Setwapres)
