From Mimika, Vice President Travels to The City of Sunset Kaimana

Kaimana, wapresri.go.id – After conducting a set of agenda during his brief visit to Mimika Regency, Central Papua, Vice President K.H. Ma’ruf Amin straightly off to Kaimana Regency, West Papua, Wednesday (30/11/2022).

In the pouring rain, the Vice President and Lady Hj. Wury Ma’ruf Amin and the entourage were boarding on the Special Presidential Aircraft Bae-RJ 85, taking off from International Airport Mozes Kilangin Timika, Mimika Regency, Central Papua to Airport Utarom Kaimana, West Papua, at 16.00 WIT.

After an hour’s flight, the Vice President arrived in Kaimana at 17.00 WIT. Welcoming his arrival at the airport: Regent of Kaimana Freddy Thie, Pangdam XVIII/Kasuari Majen TNI Gabriel Lema, Deputy of the Head of Regional Police West Papua Brigjen Pol. Ramdani Hidayat, as well as Assistant for Governance, People Welfare, and Special Autonomy of the West Papua Province, Robert R.H. Rumbekwan.

Afterward, the Vice President and the entourage marched to the designed accommodation (inn). Yet, as they passed by the Beach of Jokowi Iriana when the Maghrib prayer timing came, the Vice President stopped by the nearest food court to take some rest and break the sunnah fasting.

After breaking the fast, the Vice President and Lady Wury Ma’ruf Amin and the entourage continued their trip to the inn.

On the next day, the Vice President is scheduled to have several agendas. Among other things, receiving the Acting Governor of West Papua Paulus Waterpauw and the member of the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) of the West Papua Province and visit MSMEs in the City Garden Jokowi Iriana.
